Quynh Luu Police deploys 2015 work program

In 2014, under the close direction of the provincial police, district party committee, district people's committee, Quynh Luu district police have excellently completed their tasks in all aspects of work. Thanks to that, the security and order situation in the district has been basically maintained. During the year, traffic accidents according to statistics decreased in all 3 criteria compared to 2013. The district police force arrested and handled 8 cases, 14 subjects related to national security. Detected and arrested 18 cases, 20 subjects smuggling, transporting prohibited goods, confiscating 2 tigers weighing 165kg; 21 cases of transporting, storing, illegally trading 171 kg of Chinese fireworks of various types and goods, total value of more than 3 billion VND. Investigated and clarified 91/112 criminal cases, reaching 81%. Mobilized 89 citizens to voluntarily hand over nearly 23kg of firecrackers, 15 homemade guns, 9 duckbill grenades, and 221 banned violent plastic toy guns.

In addition, the district police also organized 43 armed patrols with 406 officers and soldiers participating, detecting 590 cases of traffic safety violations. At the same time, proactively grasping the situation, promptly advising the Party Committee, district and commune authorities to stably resolve cases related to illegal land encroachment, compensation for site clearance to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A. Effectively preventing activities that take advantage of religion to fight against extremists and opposition groups, not allowing them to develop into hot spots. In the movement of the entire people to protect national security; building forces and logistics also achieved many outstanding results.
