Vinh City Police: Arrested a subject for illegally trading in fireworks

As the Lunar New Year approaches, the activities of those who secretly trade in firecrackers and explosives are increasing with many sophisticated tricks. Through the work of grasping the situation in the area, the Traffic Police of the City Police discovered a subject who often went to Quynh Luu with many signs of suspicion of buying firecrackers to transport to Vinh for sale, so they secretly followed him.
At around 12:30 p.m., in Hamlet 4, Quynh Lam Commune, Quynh Luu, when the subject met a young man wearing a black life jacket riding a motorbike with license plate 37K-5038 to buy and sell firecrackers, a task force of Vinh City Traffic Police raided and arrested the subject. Searching the subject, the police force found a white snake body hidden inside the shirt, in which were 5 bags of firecrackers made in Thailand, each bag containing 100 firecrackers.

Through initial questioning, the suspect stated his name was Ho Van Huy (born in 1986), residing in Block 4, Cau Giat Town (Quynh Luu). In addition to the fireworks seized from the suspect, the police also seized 23 bags of fireworks and 10 strings of firecrackers at the hiding place. The total weight of the fireworks was nearly 16kg.
Immediately afterwards, the subject was taken to Vinh City Police for further investigation.
