Police investigate Formosa's responsibility for poisoning the sea
On the morning of July 4, the police force of the Ministry and Ha Tinh worked with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ha Tinh, collected documents, and clarified responsibilities in Formosa's discharge of waste that destroyed the marine environment in 4 provinces.
In addition to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the police also worked and collected relevant documents at the Ha Tinh Economic Zone Management Board in Vung Ang. The police will review the responsibilities of the competent authorities regarding state management of environmental protection laws for the Formosa project.
Mr. Vo Ta Dinh - Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ha Tinh said that this morning, the police came to work with him and accessed some documents related to the Formosa waste discharge that caused fish deaths.

According to Mr. Dinh, not only the Department of Natural Resources and Trade but also the responsibility of the Ha Tinh Economic Zone Management Board and local authorities will be clarified.
Also on the morning of July 4, the police force also worked with the tax authorities to collect data related to tax activities of Formosa Ha Tinh Company.
A leader of Ha Tinh province said that the province's viewpoint is to strictly handle the responsibilities of individuals and related units in managing and supervising Formosa's waste discharge according to regulations.
