Hoang Mai Town Police: "Seized" a large-scale inter-district gambling den

Based on information provided by the people, the criminal investigation police force of Hoang Mai town police ambushed and monitored the movements of the subjects for many days. At 9:30 p.m. on July 7, at the house of Doan Thi Hoa (born in 1973, block 12, Quynh Xuan ward), the criminal investigation police force of the town police caught 6 gamblers red-handed "gambling" each other by playing "dice" for money.

6 large-scale gambling subjects are being detained

The subjects include: Nguyen Thi Lam (born in 1977), residing in block 7; Doan Thi Hoa (born in 1973), residing in block 12, Quynh Xuan ward (Hoang Mai town); Le Van Hoa (born in 1963), residing in block 3, Cau Giat town; Dang Ngoc Hung (born in 1974), residing in hamlet 10, Quynh Hau commune; Nguyen Van Tinh (born in 1961), residing in hamlet 12, Quynh Thach commune; Nguyen Van Thanh (born in 1970), residing in hamlet 12, Quynh Thach (Quynh Luu district). The evidence seized at the gambling den included 40,900,000 VND, 6 mobile phones, 2 motorbikes and gambling tools.

Previously, on July 3, the Criminal Investigation Police force of the town police also dismantled a gambling ring in the form of lottery, arrested Le Thi Ha (born in 1978, residing in Hamlet 12, Quynh Vinh Commune, Hoang Mai Town) and confiscated 7 lottery tickets, 1 mobile phone and more than 10 million in cash related to 9 subjects in the area.

The subjects are currently being detained pending further investigation results.
