Announcing the Business Competitiveness Index on Trade
On October 25, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Institute for Economic Research and the Global Trade Alliance Commission (Global GTA) announced the business competitiveness index on trade (Top Brands 2014).

According to this announcement, 115 enterprises have applied the process of managing and developing the trade competitiveness index; 23 enterprises have applied the process of managing and developing the comprehensive quality competitiveness index - Qmix 100; including some brands and enterprises familiar to consumers such as Mylan Group, Son Toa Vietnam, Haco, SaigonBus, Vinamilk, Merino, Cienco 4, AIA, Viettel, Sasco...
Criteria for assessing commercial competitiveness include that enterprises must ensure factors that satisfy customer needs through the development of quality management processes; enterprises must have effective improvement tools to build and maintain a quality system according to international standards while ensuring comprehensive management capacity in the process of cooperation, association and commercial alliance.
The Trade Competitiveness Index Report was launched in 2014, when the Institute of Economic Research was selected by the Global GTA as a strategic partner to survey, evaluate, and recognize the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises.
The objective of this survey and report is to support businesses with management solutions, improve operational efficiency, help domestic businesses increase competitiveness, and develop sustainably at national, regional and international levels.
