The State Bank has just announced a list of 33 banks that are qualified to guarantee real estate project investors for the sale and lease-purchase of future housing.

This list was announced by the State Bank after issuing Circular 07/2015 regulating the guarantee activities of credit institutions and foreign bank branches, including regulations on guarantees for the sale and lease-purchase of future housing.
It is known that according to the provisions of the new amended Law on Real Estate Business, which took effect last July, before selling or leasing future housing, the project must be guaranteed by a qualified commercial bank.
In the list of 33 banks, there are 24 domestic commercial banks and 9 foreign banks that are qualified to guarantee for real estate project investors (see the full list in the attached table). However, in this list of 33 banks, there are no names of familiar banks such as: Sacombank, Eximbank, Nam A Bank, VIB, OCB...
