Announcing the list of 60 Nghe An candidates with high scores who were awarded

(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just approved the list of 60 students with high scores in the 2017 National High School Exam to be awarded at the Ceremony to honor excellent international, regional, national students and students with high scores in 2017.

In the 2017 school year, the number of students recognized for their high achievements in the National High School Exam was 8 students higher than the previous school year. Of these, 18 students achieved a score of 29 points or higher in block A; 4 students achieved a score of 28.5 points or higher in block A1, 13 students achieved a score of 29 points or higher in block B, 14 students achieved a score of 28 points or higher in block C, and 11 students achieved a score of 27.95 points or higher in block D.

Notably, in this list, Nghe An has 2 candidates who are the top students in the country. They are Ho Phi Khanh (student of Hoang Mai High School) - top student of group B with 30 points and To Thi Khanh Ly (student of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted) - top student of group C with 29 points.

In addition, there are 2 students who have enough points to be commended in 2 groups and are both students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. They are Tran Thi Le Na who achieved high scores in Group A (29.35 points) and Group A1 (29.00 points); Tran Quang Minh achieved high scores in Group A (29.05 points) and Group B (29.55 points).

Also according to this list, in addition to students from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted and Vinh University High School for the Gifted, there are 22 students studying at district schools. Particularly for block A, district school students dominate with 12/18 candidates being commended. Holding the top position in block A of the province is Nguyen Van Thai - a student of Do Luong 1 High School. According to regulations, each student with a high score will receive a reward of 10,400,000 VND/student.
