Announcement of wholesale milk prices registered by 4 enterprises

The Director of the Price Management Department has just signed Notice No. 395/TB-BTC dated June 10 on the maximum wholesale price and registered price for milk products for children under 6 years old of 4 companies registering prices at the Ministry of Finance.

Maximum wholesale prices and registration prices are effective from June 11, 2014.

Notice to implement Decision No. 1079/QD-BTC dated May 20, 2014 of the Ministry of Finance on applying price stabilization measures for milk products for children under 6 years old and Official Dispatch No. 6544/BTC-QLG dated May 20, 2014 of the Ministry of Finance on implementation instructions.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance has announced the maximum wholesale price and registered price of 4 companies that have registered prices at the Ministry of Finance. They are: Mead Johnson Nutrition Vietnam Co., Ltd.; 3A Nutrition Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Nestle Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Friesland Campina Vietnam Co., Ltd.

According to the guidance of the Ministry of Finance, along with the public implementation of the maximum wholesale price of milk products for children under 6 years old from June 11; for the maximum retail price of this item, organizations and individuals importing and trading will have to register with the price management agency and it will officially take effect from June 21.

Since Decision No. 1079/QD-BTC dated May 20, 2014 of the Ministry of Finance on applying price stabilization measures for milk products for children under 6 years old took effect (June 1, 2014), many businesses selling this product have reduced prices by about 30,000-200,000 VND/box depending on the type.
