Announcing the Award 'Nghe An Workers Following Uncle Ho's Teachings' at the 2025 Creative Labor Forum

On the morning of May 25, in Nghia Dan district, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation organized the 2025 Creative Labor Forum with the theme "Strong faith - Building the future".

Attending the event were Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Department of Science & Technology; representatives of the leaders of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee, People's Committee and Nghia Dan District.

On the side of the Provincial Labor Federation, there was comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Standing members, Heads of the Provincial Labor Federation Committees. Especially, there was the participation of typical collectives and individuals in the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers" throughout the province.

The 2025 Creative Labor Forum is a meaningful activity within the series of events of Workers' Month and in response to the National Creative Labor Festival, aiming to spread the spirit of innovation and creativity among workers and civil servants throughout the province; contributing to the successful implementation of the task of socio-economic development, building a modern and strong working class.

In recent years, the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers" has been increasingly going into depth, spreading strongly among the labor force of Nghe An, becoming a bright spot in the movement of workers and civil servants in the province. Thousands of initiatives, technical improvements and useful solutions of workers and laborers have contributed significantly to the development of enterprises, localities and the country.

In the period of 2020-2025, the whole province had 137 union members and workers awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the General Confederation of Labor. The spirit of proactive learning and creative adaptation has become a beautiful feature in the lives of workers, civil servants and laborers, the result of the connection between expertise and the union.

Speaking at the opening of the forum, comrade Kha Van Tam - ChairmanLabor FederationThe province affirmed that in the digital transformation revolution, each worker, civil servant, and laborer is not only the core production force but also must become a digital citizen - knowing how to apply technology, constantly learning, innovating thinking and action.

From the organizers' introduction, the forum became an open space for sharing among scientists, businesses, workers and trade unions. Accordingly, representatives of the Department of Science and Technology of Nghe An presented a discussion on the implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo, proposing policy suggestions to promote innovation and digital transformation in businesses and trade unions. The typical examples also brought in-depth sharing on the application of technical innovations, digital transformation and improvement of labor organizations.

Attending the event, Comrade Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor acknowledged and welcomed the achievements of the Provincial Labor Federation and trade unions at all levels. In particular, over the past years, Nghe An has been one of the leading units in the country in the creative labor movement. Affirming the importance of the movement in the period of national development, Comrade Huynh Thanh Xuan said that this is both a challenge and an opportunity for trade unions and the working class to continue to demonstrate their pioneering role, leading the way, being loyal to the Party, and carrying out the missions assigned by the Party and the State. From there, he requested that Nghe An Trade Unions at all levels continue to promote and expand the strength of the movement.creative labor, concretizing Resolution 57, preparing the whole nation to enter a new era.

A special highlight of the forum was the launching ceremony of the “Digital Literacy for All” movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers in the whole province. This is a concrete action to realize Resolution 57 of the Politburo, continuing the spirit of lifelong learning in the context of digital transformation. According to the plan, 100% of full-time trade union officials and over 80% of public sector workers will be equipped with basic digital knowledge and skills, aiming to build a workforce that adapts to the technology era. The Provincial Federation of Labor also launched models such as “Digital Workers Group”, “Technology Learning Corner” and set a target of 70% of grassroots trade unions participating in the first year.

Also at the forum, the Provincial Labor Federation announced the Award "Nghe An Workers Follow Uncle Ho's Teachings" - a noble title honoring creative examples who learn from Uncle Ho through concrete actions.

On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in the creative labor movement in the period of 2023-2025; The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district awarded Certificates of Merit to 18 individuals with outstanding achievements in the creative labor movement in the district; The Federation of Labor of Nghia Dan district awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 individuals who achieved the Creative Labor Certificate in the period of 2020-2024.
