Announcement of end of white spot disease in shrimp

(Baonghean) - On July 3, 2014, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 3088/QD-UBND on announcing the end of white spot disease in shrimp in Hung Hoa commune, Vinh city and Nghi Thai commune, Nghi Loc district; the epidemic-threatened area in Phuc Tho commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province.

To create conditions for people to continue farming, circulating, consuming aquatic products and aquatic products, and at the same time control and prevent the recurrence of white spot disease in shrimp, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate with the Vinh City People's Committee, Nghi Loc District People's Committee and the Veterinary Department to continue directing the implementation of disease surveillance and inspection on farmed shrimp, disinfection and sterilization of shrimp ponds; strengthen the inspection of transport epidemics, veterinary hygiene inspection and strictly implement the documents of the Provincial People's Committee on prevention and control of aquatic diseases.
