(Baonghean.vn) - Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation is merging the common brand Vicem. Accordingly, VICEM Hoang Mai is assigned to manage the consumption of Vicem branded cement in Nghe An.

Currently, Vicem cement accounts for about 36% of the cement market share nationwide. In Nghe An, in recent times, VICEM Hoang Mai cement has been supplied to key national projects across the country such as: National Convention Center, Ban Ve Hydropower Plant, Hua Na, Trung Son, Ba Thuoc, Ngan Truoi Irrigation, etc. Bridge projects: Vinh Tuy Bridge, Ben Thuy 2, etc. Major projects: Formosa Steel Complex, Nghi Son Economic Zone, Vung Ang Economic Zone, etc.

In 2017, VICEM Hoang Mai strives to produce over 1.88 million tons of products, of which about 1.4 million tons will be consumed in Nghe An market, accounting for over 60% of the province's cement market share.

In line with the direction and roadmap for unifying the VICEM brand, Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation has consolidated the common Vicem brand in all markets. Accordingly, Vicem Hoang Mai is assigned to manage the consumption of Vicem branded cement in Nghe An.
