According to the report on the by-election of the People's Council deputies of the town, there were 63,735 voters out of a total of 64,731 voters on the list, reaching a rate of 98.51%. The result of the election of the People's Council deputies of the town, term I, was 22 (of which 20 were male, 2 were female), in 7 constituencies.

The number of elected people is chosen by voters from among 36 candidates.
