At 5:15 p.m. on February 13, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh, Director of Nghe An Department of Health, said: The National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology has just announced the test results of 2 suspected Covid-19 patients in Nghe An.
Accordingly, the test results of Phan Van Thanh (36 years old), in Nghia Son commune, Nghia Dan district and Nguyen Thi Ngoc (24 years old) in Van Phu hamlet, Hien Son commune, Do Luong were negative for Corona virus.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper: Mr. Phan Van Thanh had contact with the husband of a patient who tested positive for Corona virus in Vinh Phuc on January 29, 2020. On February 7, Mr. Thanh showed symptoms such as cough, chest pain, sore throat, runny nose. On the evening of February 11, Mr. Thanh was admitted to the Northwest Regional General Hospital for treatment and was taken to the isolation area of the Tropical Department. At 2:00 a.m. on February 12, patient Thanh's sample was transferred to the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology for testing...
Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc returned from China. Not long after, she had symptoms of cough and fever. This woman then reported to the medical facility and was taken to the isolation area, monitored and treated at the Tropical Disease Center, Nghe An General Hospital.
