Announcing Vietnam Tourism Logo and Slogan
On December 27, the General Department of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) officially announced the new slogan of Vietnam's tourism industry as "Vietnam - Timeless Charm" and the logo is a colorful lotus in bloom.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, General Director of the General Department of Tourism: The new logo and slogan of the tourism industry will be used for the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program for the period 2011 - 2020. The new logo and slogan have absorbed the strengths of the Title - Symbol of the previous period; showing the development orientation of Vietnam tourism in the new period is sea, cultural and ecological tourism.
Based on the analysis and assessment of the current development situation of Vietnam tourism, experts have identified the products, core values, feelings and experiences that Vietnam tourism brings to tourists, forming a new message to transform the perception of Vietnam tourism from hidden beauty to openness, liveliness and confidence; from short trips to long trips, repeated regularly and focusing on island trips.
