Announcing the planning for postal and telecommunications development in Nghe An to 2020
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of September 12, the Department of Information and Communications held a conference to announce the postal and telecommunications development plan in the province up to 2020.
Conference overview.Accordingly, the target by 2015 is to have 40-50 cultural post offices providing broadband Internet services, 80-90% of communes will have public telecommunications service points. By 2020, 90-95% of cultural post offices will provide broadband Internet, 75% of the population will use mobile phones, and fiber optic cables will reach 30% of villages.
The goal by 2020 is to develop Nghe An Post and Telecommunications in the direction of improving quality, diversifying services, combining the provision of public services with commercial services, in order to meet the increasing needs of customers. Promote all resources, create conditions for all economic sectors to participate in service development in a healthy competitive environment. Develop new financial services such as: pension payment services, payment services, life insurance collection, electricity and water bills... Develop telecommunications and the Internet in the trend of convergence with information technology and communications, becoming a key economic sector of the province. Build and develop telecommunications and information technology network infrastructure with modern technology, ensuring coverage quality to remote areas in the whole province../.
