Announcement of Decision on assigning Deputy Head of Central Propaganda Department

On the morning of December 2, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda Department held a ceremony to announce the Politburo's decision on the assignment of Party Central Committee members. Comrade Dinh The Huynh, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda Department chaired the ceremony.

Attending the announcement ceremony were comrade Tran Van Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; leaders of Thanh Hoa province; departments and units of the Central Organizing Committee and the Central Propaganda Department.

On behalf of the Central Organizing Committee, comrade Tran Van Minh, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced Decision No. 1518-QDNS/TW, dated November 12, 2014 of the Politburo on assigning comrade Mai Van Ninh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province, to now cease to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and member of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2010-2015 term; cease to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province for the 2011-2016 term to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department.

On behalf of the Central Propaganda Department, comrade Dinh The Huynh presented the decision and congratulated comrade Mai Van Ninh on accepting the new assignment. Comrade Dinh The Huynh said that from now until the 12th National Congress of the Party, the tasks and workload in the field of ideology and science require the efforts of the entire staff of the Propaganda Department in general and first of all the leaders of the Department. Comrade Dinh The Huynh hopes and believes that in the coming time, with his experience from the grassroots, comrade Mai Van Ninh will make many contributions together with the leadership of the Central Propaganda Department in carrying out the political tasks assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat.

Speaking after receiving the decision, Comrade Mai Van Ninh thanked the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the leaders of the Central Propaganda Department for their attention and expressed his honor and pride in receiving the new assignment.
