Announcement of Decision to promote the rank of General of the People's Public Security

On November 2, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce and present the President's Decision on promoting the rank of People's Public Security General in 2014.

Minister Tran Dai Quang presented the President's Decision to the comrades promoted to the rank of General.

At the ceremony, authorized by the President, General Tran Dai Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, presented the President's Decision to the comrades promoted to the rank of General.

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security and all generals, officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security, General Tran Dai Quang expressed his deep gratitude to the Party, State, Government and people for always paying attention and taking care of building the People's Public Security force.

Congratulating the comrades who have just been promoted to the rank of General by the Party and State, General Tran Dai Quang stated that this is the recognition of the Party, State and people for the great contributions of the People's Public Security Force; marking the maturity and development of the People's Public Security Force in general, of the comrades promoted to the rank of General in particular, and at the same time is the honor and pride of the entire People's Public Security Force.

General Tran Dai Quang emphasized that to promote the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security Forces, comrades promoted to the rank of General need to continue to cultivate, train, maintain revolutionary qualities and ethics, steadfast political will, be absolutely loyal to the Party, and wholeheartedly serve the Fatherland and the people.
