Announcing the decision to establish the Department of Records and Archives of Nghe An province
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, July 9, in Vinh city, the Provincial Records and Archives Department, under the Nghe An Department of Home Affairs, held a ceremony to announce its establishment.
Nghe An Provincial Department of Records and Archives was established in November 2011 under Decision No. 57/2011/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee on the basis of merging the Provincial Archives Center and the Department of Records Management of Nghe An Department of Home Affairs. Immediately after the establishment decision, the Department focused on stabilizing the organization and staff (the Department currently has 11 staff and civil servants), and implementing activities according to assigned functions and tasks.
The establishment of the Provincial Department of Records and Archives will create favorable conditions for the State management of records and archives to be more orderly and effective, meeting the requirements of records and archives work according to the law. At the same time, it will serve well the exploitation and use of the province's archival documents in the general development process of the province, of each industry, each field, each locality...
At the launching ceremony, Comrade Cao Thi Hien - Director of the Department of Home Affairs presented the Decision to establish the Provincial Department of Records and Archives and the Decisions to appoint the positions of Head and Deputy Head of the Provincial Department of Records and Archives.
