(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 26, the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Office of the National Assembly held a handover ceremony of officials, civil servants, and employees from the Provincial People's Committee to the Office of the National Assembly.
Attending the handover ceremony were comrades Nguyen Huu Toan - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office; Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Van Tan - Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Implementing the 2015 Law on the National Assembly, while meeting the requirements for innovation in advisory and service work, and improving the professionalism of service work for the National Assembly Delegation and National Assembly deputies in localities, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 1097/2015/UBTVQH13, dated December 22, 2015, on the establishment and regulation of functions and tasks of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation of provinces and centrally run cities on the basis of separating the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council.
Accordingly, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation of a province or centrally-run city has 12 tasks in three areas: consulting, synthesis, reception, logistics; coordination with provincial authorities, the National Assembly Office and the Office of the Delegation of provinces and cities.

The Office of the National Assembly announced the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Huu Truong - former Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council of Nghe An province to hold the position of Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province; Mr. Tran Nhat Minh - former Deputy Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council of Nghe An province to hold the position of Deputy Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province under the Office of the National Assembly.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, comrades Nguyen Huu Toan - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office and comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee both emphasized: The requirements and demands of the tasks of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Office are increasingly high. To meet the requirements of the tasks, it is recommended that the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation Office should soon develop working regulations; clearly assign tasks, ensuring the promotion of the capacity and strengths of cadres, civil servants and employees.
Pay attention to improving the quality of activities, promoting the operational capacity of the delegation, contributing to effectively advising and assisting the delegation and each National Assembly delegate to increasingly better fulfill their responsibilities to the people as well as the political tasks of the country and locality.
