Premiere of one of Mozart's three greatest operas

Mozart's famous opera "Cosi Fan Tutte" will be performed by the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.Maleperformed on October 5 and 6, 2012 at the Hanoi Opera House. This is one of Mozart's three major operas, among the most popular of Mozart's operas.



The play is about love and women's loyalty.


“Cosi fan Tutte” is an opera that was “ahead of its time” – a classical opera written in 1790 but with a completely modern plot and suitable for today’s audience. This is a story about love, loyalty and sincerity to one’s partner. It shows women trying to be loyal but when faced with temptation, how will they behave? This is a story that still exists in the daily life of every person. The story has an open ending so that the audience has the right to decide in their own way, and that is why after many centuries the play has always attracted audiences of all times.


The musical has been performed many times inVienna, but after the deaths of Mozart and the Emperor, the Opera began to be considered shocking and was hardly ever performed anywhere during the 19th century.


Although the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet performed this opera in 2007, this is a new, abridged version under the direction and conduct of Graham Sutcliffe (British).

The musical will be performed entirely by artists of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.Malein Italian - with Vietnamese and English subtitles. The play features six main characters, including female voices Ha Pham Thang Long, Huong Diep, Phuong Dung playing the two female characters Fiordilgi and Dorabella. The two male characters Gugliemo and Ferrando are performed by Phan Duc and Thanh Binh, with Kieu Tham and Anh Vu. Don Alfonso will be sung by baritone, Manh Dung, and Despina is Vanh Khuyen.


Costumes for the opera are being provided by LUALA. The roles will be dressed in stylish, luxurious outfits from famous designers and prestigious brands in the world such as Vera Wang, Helene Zubeldia, Vanlaack, Canali, Hiltl, Neil Barrett and Paul & Joe...
