Nghe An Trade Union provides support to union members affected by natural disasters.

On the afternoon of December 2nd, the working groupProvincial Labor UnionIn Nghe An, led by Mr. Cao Nguyen Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union, gifts were presented to workers affected by storms and floods, and "Trade Union Shelter" houses were donated to union members in difficult circumstances in Thai Hoa, Nghia Dan, and Hai Chau communes.

Accordingly, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has allocated 50 million VND from the Golden Heart Charity Fund to provide financial support to union members and workers affected by natural disasters, storms, and floods in Nghe An province.

Specifically, the support level for workers whose houses are flooded due to natural disasters, storms, and floods is 2 million VND/household; support for workers whose houses collapse or who are injured and hospitalized due to natural disasters, storms, and floods is 5 million VND/person; and support for families of workers who die due to natural disasters, storms, and floods is 10 million VND/household.

After compiling and reviewing the list, the Provincial Labor Union decided to provide financial assistance to 22 union members and workers affected by the 2025 storms and floods. Of these, 2 union members received 5 million VND each, and 20 union members received 2 million VND each.

In the afternoon, the delegation presented support gifts to the Trade Union of TH Milk Company ( thuộc Nghia Dan Commune Trade Union) and the Trade Union of Nghe An Bridge and Road Management & Construction Joint Stock Company ( thuộc Nghia Dan Ward Trade Union).

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Cao Nguyen Hung affirmed the special role of workers and laborers, and their function in protecting and caring for them.union membersThe Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions shared in the difficulties and losses suffered by workers due to storms and floods, acknowledging the close attention and care of the grassroots trade unions and encouraging union members to strive in life and work, fulfilling their responsibilities to their families and businesses.

This activity demonstrates the timely response of the Trade Union in caring for and encouraging union members and workers who unfortunately suffer from natural disasters. This is not only material support but also a great source of moral encouragement, helping union members overcome difficulties and quickly restore their lives and production. According to statistics, since the beginning of the year, the Nghe An Trade Union has distributed nearly 700 million VND to union members and workers affected by natural disasters, storms, and floods.

Also on this occasion, from the Social Activities Fund of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union, the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions awarded 50 million VND to build a "Trade Union Shelter" house for union member Pham Thi Nguyet - a worker at Wooin Vina Co., Ltd., belonging to the Hai Chau Commune Trade Union.
