Even the programs associated with the "brand" of the Trade Union organization for many years such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month", "Trade Union Shelter"... all incorporate creative activities such as calling for the construction of "Zero-dong booths", organizing forums "Thanking workers", forums "Enterprises for workers and workers for enterprises"...

Regarding creativity, union members and workers of Nghe An Trade Union have exceeded the target of phase 1 in the program "1 million initiatives to strive, overcome difficulties, and defeat the Covid-19 pandemic" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The premise for those marks is Resolution 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation". It can be affirmed that, immediately upon receiving the Resolution, Nghe An Trade Union proactively advised the Party Committee in leadership, direction and implementation, becoming the leading unit in propaganda and dissemination of the Resolution to union officials, civil servants, public employees and workers. The innovation in management and direction, the sense of responsibility, flexibility and professionalism of the trade union leadership team at all levels have contributed to bringing Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW into life after only 1 year of implementation.

Specifically, the awareness of trade union officials and the quality of trade union activities have been innovated, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions has increased, the application of information technology in propaganda work has been strongly promoted, dialogue activities and quality democratic conferences have been promoted, activities to care for workers have been promoted, and trade union financial revenue has increased compared to the previous year...

In addition, closely following the theme "Caring for jobs and lives of workers; striving to achieve the highest goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 12th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union" in 2022, Nghe An Trade Union also deployed the development of a specific action plan with many new, practical and widespread activities. In the context of the socio-economy being heavily affected by the pandemic, the organizationNghe An Trade Unionclearly demonstrated the function and task of taking care of jobs and lives of union members and workers.

During the Lunar New Year 2022, Nghe An Trade Union at all levels spent more than 24.8 billion VND to take care of Tet for 80,893 workers. Throughout 2022, there were a series of effective activities with high impact such as visiting and providing timely support to groups and union members in difficult circumstances, affected by floods, frontline units against the epidemic, union members affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, connecting jobs for repatriated workers...

Faced with many objective difficulties, with constant efforts, in 2022, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation exceeded 8 targets and completed 6 targets out of 15 targets assigned by the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Develop union members in both quality and quantity

At present, Nghe An Trade Unions at all levels have been and are actively focusing on organizing Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the 2023-2028 term towards the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union. At the same time, effectively implementing Plan No. 58-KH/TU dated October 12, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Action Program No. 02/CTr-LĐLĐ, dated October 18, 2021 of the Provincial Labor Federation Standing Committee on implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, Resolution 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Unions in the new situation".

Continuing the results achieved in 2022 and based on the practical situation, the activities in 2023 have been developed by the Provincial Federation of Labor with the theme "Focusing onunion development, establish grassroots trade unions”. Specifically, increase the proportion of union members over the total number of workers and laborers, increase investment in resources for union member development, and establish grassroots trade unions. At the same time, train and improve the capacity of grassroots trade union cadres, especially key cadres and new cadres, focusing on training in skills for union member development, establishment of grassroots trade unions, and dialogue and negotiation skills.

From the successes in propaganda and education work in 2022, Nghe An Trade Union at all levels has advocated implementing "Promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" in 2023 and developing a plan and implementing the Program "Promoting lifelong learning activities among workers in enterprises by 2030", helping workers to continuously study, improve their qualifications, have sustainable jobs and increasingly higher incomes. At the same time, pay attention to participating in ensuring sustainable jobs, improving the income of civil servants, public employees, union members and workers and proactively forecasting the situation to propose appropriate solutions for trade union activities and propose and coordinate with competent agencies to handle issues arising in practice. The work of coordinating to participate in inspection, examination and supervision of labor laws, trade unions, social insurance, occupational safety and hygiene, etc. will be implemented methodically.

Strengthening the building of trade union organizations associated with improving the quality of trade union members will be concretized through activities such as encouraging workers, civil servants, and laborers to participate in social activities, building and effectively implementing the "Trade Union Shelter" fund, focusing resources on activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members, etc. In addition to annual activities, right before the New Year 2023, the Provincial Labor Federation organized the program "Workers' Festival - Welcome Spring Quy Mao 2023" with many practical activities. In the coming year, Nghe An Trade Union will continue to focus on its advisory role, coordinating with the General Confederation of Labor, the Trade Union Institution Project Management Board, departments, branches and sectors to implement the Trade Union Institution project at Bac Vinh Industrial Park, the Provincial Labor Culture House.

Emulation movements, key projects to welcome the Congress of Trade Unions at all levels and the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, and commendation conferences will certainly be memorable highlights in the coming year. Among them, competitions such as the “First Journalism Award on Workers and Trade Unions of Nghe An Province”, “Sports tournament"In civil servants, public employees, and workers to welcome the Trade Union Congresses at all levels", the contest of creating video clips to promote activities to welcome the Trade Union Congresses at all levels, the contest of making videos and clips about mid-break exercises... promises to create a spread in the community.

From the experience of 2022, the work of collecting union fees according to Decree 191/ND-CP will also be focused on. Specifically, trade unions at all levels will strengthen inspection work for trade unions at all levels in collecting and managing the use of finance and assets, registering the target of 100% of grassroots trade unions using software according to the new accounting regime and continuing to implement the Project "Focusing on developing resources as a basis for organizing activities".
