Nghe An Trade Union signed a commitment to compete to improve the quality of collective labor agreements.
(Baonghean.vn) - With high determination, Nghe An trade unions at all levels are committed to implementing the breakthrough "Focusing on dialogue, collective bargaining, bringing benefits to union members and workers".
On the morning of April 23, the Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to evaluate the negotiation, signing and implementation of collective labor agreements in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

The conference heard a report assessing the negotiation, signing and implementation.collective labor agreement2023. Accordingly, this is the year when trade unions at all levels focus on trade union congresses at all levels, so the time spent directing grassroots trade unions to sign new and re-sign collective labor agreements has not been given attention. Some units have made efforts to sign new and re-sign to achieve and exceed the set targets such as: Southeast Economic Zone, Nam Dan and Quynh Luu districts...
The Labor Federations of districts, cities, towns, and industry unions have made great efforts to improve the quality of the agreements. Many grassroots union officials are interested and dedicated to improving the quality of the agreements.
Besides high-quality agreements, there are still many agreements that do not meet the wishes of employees, are sketchy, copy legal regulations... In addition, some units have reached the time when their agreements expire but have not promptly replaced or supplemented them.

In the coming time, Nghe An Trade Union will deploy the Action Program to implement the breakthrough "Focusing on dialogue, collective bargaining, bringing benefits to union members and employees, focusing on wages, bonuses, working conditions and time" as proposed at the 19th Congress of Nghe An Trade Union, term 2023-2028. Accordingly, the target set by the Congress is "At least 91% of enterprises and units with Trade Union organizations sign collective labor agreements; at least 40% of collective labor agreements are of type A".
The conference recorded many enthusiastic presentations from delegates on initiatives and experiences in promoting the establishment, maintenance and supplementation of collective labor agreements. Accordingly, many units have had good ways to bring more beneficial provisions forworker.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged the thoughtful comments of the delegates. In the coming time, it is necessary to determine the viewpoint, establish the union, negotiate to sign the collective labor agreement. At the same time, the collective labor agreement is one of the breakthroughs, so it needs to be implemented with the highest determination. Units must be proactive, flexible in implementation, by all means to achieve the set targets.

Regarding solutions, it is necessary to be determined to change and promote the strength of coordination at all levels and sectors; promptly reward, encourage, recognize and replicate typical examples of exemplary individuals and groups; and monitor implementation in many ways.
