During the past term, the Department of Tourism Trade Union has continuously developed its organization and staff, and innovated its content and methods of operation.

The implementation of democratic regulations in agency activities is carried out seriously by the Party cell and the department's leaders with a high sense of responsibility, associated with the building of the political system at the grassroots level. From there, it creates a friendly and equal working environment, motivating cadres, civil servants and employees to work with peace of mind, promoting their strengths and abilities.

In recent times, administrative reform has become an important content that has been implemented synchronously and effectively. Currently, the Department of Tourism has reduced the processing time of 14/26 administrative procedures, reaching a rate of 53.84%; The rate of officials and civil servants using official mailboxes is always in the top 5 of the province.

The protection of the legitimate rights and interests of union members, officials, civil servants and employees of the Department of Tourism is always a focus. Emulation and reward work is carried out openly, democratically and transparently.

Patriotic emulation movements among cadres, civil servants and workers were launched by the Trade Union of the Department of Tourism right from the beginning of the year with specific and practical content, linked to the political tasks of the agency and unit, focusing on the emulation movement "Good worker, creative worker" and the movements: "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", "Good at public work, good at housework", "Skillful in mass mobilization", "Joining hands to build new rural areas"...

The Trade Union coordinated with the Department to develop a plan to launch the emulation movement "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees of Nghe An Tourism sector compete to implement office culture" for the period 2019-2025. After 3 years of implementation, the movement has created a clear change in awareness and action in building the image of the Department of Tourism's cadres and civil servants as exemplary, dedicated, standardized, professional, responsible, disciplined, and friendly.

At the Congress, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Thanh An requested the new Executive Committee to perform well 5 key tasks. In particular, she emphasized that the union must truly be the center of solidarity, play a good role as a bridge, maintain close connections between the Party Committee, the Department's leadership with cadres and civil servants, and act as a representative organization, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members.

In addition, it is necessary to build and strengthen the trade union organization to truly innovate its activities. Promote training and development of the Party, introduce to the Party for consideration, and admit Party members from among the excellent union members, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party cell.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Cong Danh - Chairman of Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union agreed with the draft reports approved at the Congress and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Nghe An Department of Tourism Trade Union for the 2017 - 2023 term.

In the new term, the Tourism Department's Trade Union needs to continue to innovate its organizational form, taking the interests of union members to organize union activities, which is not only the concern of the Executive Committee but also requires the participation of a large number of union members.

More importantly, the union must be a reliable support for union members to boldly advise on solving difficult problems in policy making and digitizing tourism activities to meet the requirements of the new period.
