At the end of the 2012-2013 school year, Nghe An Department of Education and Training received 1,162 experience initiatives (IIPs) from units sent for consideration and recognition at the provincial sector level, including 102 IIPs on preschool education; 233 IIPs on primary education and 827 IIPs on secondary education.

Before entering the new school year 2013-2014, after receiving the assessment opinion of the Scientific Research Council of the sector, the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An decided to recognize 27 scientific research projects as type A and 317 scientific research projects as type B at the sector level of the province. The units with many scientific research projects recognized as reaching the sector level of the province are: Vinh Department of Education and Training (4A, 21B); Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School (3A, 13B); Do Luong 1 High School (3A, 8B); Dien Chau Department of Education and Training (1A, 24B); Do Luong Department of Education and Training (1A, 16B);... It is worth noting that many schools under the Department of Education and Training have made many contributions to the activities of summarizing scientific research projects such as Anh Son Secondary School (with 06 scientific research projects as type B), Le Loi Secondary School (with 01 scientific research project as type A, 02 scientific research projects as type B),...

According to the assessment of the Scientific Research Council, the outstanding features of the scientific researches participating in the provincial industry-level classification ensure good quality; many scientific researches clearly demonstrate the passion, dedication and creativity of the authors; some authors have worked hard to collect and compile documents to explain their scientific researches - these are also useful documents serving teaching activities in schools.

On the other hand, the SKKNs have diverse and rich content, focusing on solving urgent problems of the industry: implementing the program of division of branches; fostering excellent students; improving the quality of the whole industry; teaching ethnic languages ​​and local languages ​​to students in all regions; innovating teaching methods at all levels and subjects; managing education quality; managing school facilities and equipment; innovating emulation and rewards; building national standard schools; building friendly schools, active students;... In particular, the number of SKKNs applying information technology is quite large, proving that cadres and teachers in the whole industry are very interested in applying information technology to educational activities.

However, besides the above-mentioned outstanding advantages, there are still many shortcomings that need to be overcome: 15 units under the Department did not participate in the SKKN distillation movement; some grassroots councils did not evaluate accurately. It is worth mentioning that there are some dishonest authors who copied information from the internet, copied other people's works or compiled results from many published documents.
