Recalling the first memories of coming to the HAGL – Arsenal – JMG Football Academy, Cong Phuong and his father went to Gia Lai to take the exam. Despite his small stature, he had skillful football playing techniques and intelligence rarely seen in his peers. Cong Phuong was highly appreciated by the expert of the JMG Global Football Academy, Mr. Jean Mac Guillou, right from the first tests.

After the victory over U19Australia, in recent days, the U19 Vietnam players in general and Cong Phuong in particular have always attracted the attention of the domestic and foreign media. Many people are worried that they will be "lifted to the sky" and become "stars". Because for Vietnamese football, having a player who becomes famous early means "falling" early over time like the previous cases we often encountered. However, with the methodical and dedicated education of the coaching team at the HAGL - Arsenal - JMG Football Academy, we have the right to hope that this will not happen to Cong Phuong and the current generation of U19 players that HAGL has spent a lot of effort and money to train over the past 7 years. The fact that HAGL recently signed a contract with the University of Physical Education and Sports for this generation of players to study shows that in addition to football training, HAGL is very interested in nurturing and orienting the personality of the players, so that they can soon become real professional players.
