(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 9, the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization held a conference to review the mass mobilization work in the first 6 months of the year, deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2015, and at the same time thoroughly grasp Directive 43 - CT/T.Ư dated April 15 of the Central Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in dealing with the consequences of toxic chemicals used by the US during the war in Vietnam.

In the first 6 months of 2015, despite many difficulties, the mass mobilization work of the entire political system had positive changes and achieved many important results. The Central Mass Mobilization Commission actively deployed and ensured the progress of the 2015 projects assigned by the Secretariat: Project to summarize 5 years of implementing the Decision of the Politburo (10th tenure) "On promulgating the regulations on mass mobilization work of the political system"; Summarizing the directive of the Politburo (8th tenure) on "Building and implementing the Regulations on Democracy at the grassroots level", completing and submitting to the Secretariat for approval the Report on summarizing 5 years of implementing the announcement of the conclusion of the Secretariat (10th tenure) "On resolving the consequences of toxic chemicals used by the US during the war and the work of caring for and helping victims of Agent Orange; organizing the activities of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Vietnam"...

At the conference, delegates representing the People's Mobilization Committees of provinces and cities reported on the local people's mobilization work in the first 6 months of the year and the preparation work for the Party Congresses of provinces and cities. Representatives of localities also identified the key tasks of the people's mobilization work in the coming time, which will focus on implementing projects and directives, solving urgent problems of the people at the grassroots level; taking care of improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Hong Anh highly appreciated the strengthening and innovation in the Party's leadership of mass mobilization work in the new situation, and emphasized: The Central Mass Mobilization Committee and localities need to do a good job of grasping the people's situation before, during and after the Party congresses at all levels; promptly advise the Party committees and authorities to focus on solving the urgent problems of the people right at the grassroots level and in each locality. At the same time, the mass mobilization system needs to continue advising the Party committees to promote propaganda work, thoroughly grasp the Party's viewpoints and Ho Chi Minh's thought on mass mobilization work. Build a team of cadres doing mass mobilization work with capacity, focusing on the grassroots level, staying close to the people, staying close to the locality to grasp and synthesize the thoughts, aspirations, legitimate proposals and recommendations of all classes of people to promptly advise the Party committees and authorities to direct timely solutions, especially issues directly related to the lives, jobs and incomes of the people; create high consensus in society.

Within the framework of the conference, comrade Le Hong Anh also thoroughly grasped Directive 43 - CT/T.Ư dated April 15, 2015 on strengthening the Party's leadership in dealing with the consequences of toxic chemicals used by the US during the war in Vietnam with the following key tasks: Strengthening the leadership of Party committees at all levels in dealing with the consequences of toxic chemicals; Improving the effectiveness of state management, fully implementing policies for Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange/dioxin; Continuing to mobilize and fight for justice for the victims; Strengthening propaganda and mobilization work to help people at home and abroad understand the toxic chemical disaster; Consolidating and perfecting the organization and building a team of officials of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
