Personnel work for the 25th Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children Football Tournament in 2023 is guaranteed to be strict and of high quality.

Participating in this year’s tournament, there are 19 teams in the children’s age group and 9 teams in the youth age group from 20 districts, cities and towns in the province (Anh Son district did not participate in the tournament). Of which, 8 localities registered to compete in both age groups.

According to the schedule, the personnel check will officially start at 8am. However, from 7am, the members of the Personnel Subcommittee of the Youth and Children's Football Tournament of Nghe An Newspaper Cup were present to work.

Personnel work took place ahead of schedule to facilitate teams to arrive early for inspection and leave early to avoid the heat; as well as to help teams from far away quickly settle down to eat and rest, ensuring quality before entering the tournament.

From 7:30 to 10:30, the teams gathered at the provincial sports stadium at 6 Dao Tan Street, Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City to complete procedures, receive competition uniforms and take photos before entering the tournament.

The first 7 teams present at the personnel examination were the Vinh city youth and children's team, the Hung Nguyen district youth and children's team, the Hoang Mai youth and children's team, and the Tuong Duong district children's team.

To be able to attend this youth football festival, teams from the highlands such as Ky Son and Tuong Duong set out on the afternoon of June 7. Teams from nearby areas hired buses and got on the buses early in the morning to be on time for the meeting. Many teams arrived at the provincial gymnasium before checking into their hotel rooms.

The young players brought backpacks with enough clothes and equipment for a week of the tournament with the great hope of reaching the final match. Everyone was very excited to participate in the tournament... Many parents from far away areas accompanied their children to this tournament.

LIVEYouth - Children Football Tournament - Nghe An Newspaper CupThis year there are many new faces. It is not only a new generation of young players but also on the coaching bench. Many of the main coaches this year are younger and more eager to win.

Entering the testing session, unlike the tense nature of many other tournaments, the atmosphere of the personnel testing at the Bao Cup was very open, but no less strict. The young players were tested, and the coaches and team leaders were all happy to face the "probing" questions of the inspectors.

As in previous seasons, to ensure the tournament is fair, honest and objective, this year's season, the personnel inspection work is carried out very seriously and strictly. The personnel subcommittee includes officials from the Department of Culture and Sports and Song Lam Nghe An Football Club.

By 11am on June 8, the personnel inspection was complete. The last team to conduct the inspection was the Quy Chau district children's team. This team arrived in Vinh "a bit later" than the other teams, partly due to the long distance, and partly because the team leaders decided to "not rush" to conserve their energy.

Through inspection, most of the teams did a good job of preparing documents and competition procedures for the players. The selected players were all the right people, the right age; the vast majority of the players were good at football and good at studying.

Talking about the personnel in this year's tournament, Mr. Nguyen Danh Nam - Deputy Head of Sports Management Department, Nghe An Department of Culture - Sports; Head of the Personnel Subcommittee of the 25th Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children's Football Tournament shared: The teams participating in this year's tournament are all checked for personnel through personal identification codes. Thanks to that, the checking process is simple, streamlined, accurate and increases transparency among the participating teams.

Compared to previous seasons, players in both age groups participating in this year's tournament have outstanding physical strength, especially height. The physical strength of players from all teams is similar, with no difference. This shows that the overall quality of life and nutrition for children are increasingly being cared for and improved.

At the personnel review session, the Head of the Organizing Committee of the 25th Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children Football Tournament, 2023 was also present and recorded additional comments from the football teams to make the Newspaper Cup a great success.
