Propaganda work contributes to the successful implementation of socio-economic development targets.

Attending the conference were Comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An Province, along with provincial reporters; heads and deputy heads of the Propaganda Departments of districts, cities, town Party Committees, and affiliated Party Committees; the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and provincial-level organizations.

At the conference, the reporters listened to the representative of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation briefly announce the results of the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly. After 21 working days, the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly completed all the contents of the proposed program. The National Assembly considered and approved 6 draft laws and 14 important resolutions.

The National Assembly gave opinions on the reception and revision of one draft law, gave initial opinions on seven other draft laws; conducted thematic supervision, questioned and answered questions; considered and decided on socio-economic issues, the State budget, and personnel; considered reports and recommendations from voters, judicial work, crime prevention and control, law enforcement, corruption prevention and control, and a number of other important issues.

The National Assembly also decided to increase the basic salary for officials, civil servants and public employees to 1.8 million VND from July 1, 2023; increase pensions and social insurance benefits by 12.5%.

At this session, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province seriously participated with a high sense of responsibility in the plenary sessions and group discussions, with 9 delegates speaking in the hall, 57 delegates speaking in groups to discuss the submission, draft laws, draft resolutions, reports on socio-economic issues; security - defense; State budget and important issues under the authority of the National Assembly.

Also at the conference, the reporters heard: Results of the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China; Results of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits,... heard reports on the socio-economic situation of the country and the province in the first 10 months of the year and directions and tasks for the remaining months; Directive 17 on strengthening food security and safety in the new situation; Directive of the Secretariat on promoting the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations;...

From this conference, the leader of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested that the provincial reporters proactively grasp the situation of public opinion, the ideological developments of cadres, party members and the masses to have timely solutions, create high consensus in the entire political system, contribute to the successful implementation of socio-economic development targets, and firmly ensure national defense and security in the province.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested the Propaganda Departments of districts, cities, town Party Committees, affiliated Party Committees and the reporting team to focus on propagating foreign affairs activities, and attending important international conferences of key leaders of the Party and State; Propagating on strengthening food security and safety in the new situation; Focusing on widely propagating the important results of the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly to a large number of cadres, Party members and people of all walks of life.
