Water supply works have no… water!

In some resettlement villages of Hua Na Hydropower Plant (Que Phong), clean water supply works have been invested in, but people lack water for daily use. The reason is that the design and construction of the works are not suitable for the terrain conditions of the resettlement area. Some self-flowing water supply works at resettlement sites in Tien Phong, Dong Van and Thong Thu communes are built far from water sources, the pipelines are too long, the water is unstable and difficult to manage and repair... Or at some dug wells there is no water.

Clean water projects that have been completed but not yet in use result in low investment efficiency, waste and direct impact on people's lives. Therefore, it needs to be promptly remedied by all levels and sectors.

To have water for daily use, some families at the Huoi Siu - Huoi Lan resettlement area have to install water pipes over very long distances.

Water supply works at Huoi Duoc - Huoi Man resettlement area are left empty due to lack of water source.
