Diec Pagoda (also known as Tung Lam Diec Co) was first built at the end of the Tran Dynasty and gradually became the leading center of study, spirituality and belief in the region.
After many renovations and constructions, the pagoda became the administrative headquarters of the Buddhist Association of Military Region 4 in 1950. Under the French colonial period, Diec Pagoda was a secret contact point for patriots Phan Boi Chau, Phan Chu Trinh, Doi Cung... Through the ups and downs of history, Diec Pagoda only has the Tam Quan gate and two stone steles left.
