(Baonghean.vn) - On the 18th and 19th, Vinh Bus Station Joint Stock Company - a sister unit of Company 33 on Ngu Island, organized a visit and exchange with the soldiers on duty here. The two days on the island were an opportunity to better understand the hardships and deprivations of the soldiers in their work as well as in their daily lives.
The delegation of Vinh Bus Station Joint Stock Company had the opportunity to interact and learn about the lives of soldiers on the island, and at the same time presented officers and soldiers with simple but meaningful hometown products. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hai - Island Chief, shared: Although life on the island is still difficult due to being far from the mainland, lacking fresh water and the harsh climate, the brothers in the company still strive to overcome difficulties, complete their tasks and improve the lives of officers and soldiers. Life on the island is more joyful and meaningful when we receive affection and gratitude from the mainland, from agencies, units and people inside and outside the province. That solidarity will be the strength for us to preserve and protect the country's sovereign sea and islands.
