Currently, Water Supply Joint Stock Company is the leading enterprise in the field of water supply in Nghe An. The company manages 13 factories and water supply systems in the province with a total capacity of 100,000 m3/day, including Hung Vinh Water Plant - Vinh city with capacity of 60,000 m3/day, Vinh Suburban Water Plant with capacity of 20,000 m3/day, along with water supply stations in Thanh Chuong, Do Luong, Tan Ky, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Anh Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son districts...
One of the important tasks to improve the quality of service to people and develop customers is to invest in developing the water supply pipeline network system (the Company manages the pipeline network system according to the network hierarchy of level 1, level 2, level 3) and the pipeline network system is well managed, incidents on the pipeline network system are always handled promptly.
From 2016 to present, the company has focused on investing and renovating 35 projects, including replacing old and degraded water supply pipes, promptly handling pipes that cause water loss and pollution. The company has completed the design and plan for network separation in Vinh city; Vinh city's surrounding water supply enterprise and the Western urban water supply enterprise.
In recent times, the company has focused on investing in expanding the water supply network to key and important areas according to the planning of the Provincial People's Committee, according to the needs and aspirations of the people, such as: Installing HDPE D200 pipeline on Pham Hong Thai street to supply clean water to the Southwest area of the city, Emtecc Korean industrial cluster; installing water supply system for VSIP Nghe An Industrial and Service Complex;... The company has coordinated well with the Department of Construction, Vinh City People's Committee to develop a clean water supply planning project for Nghe An province in the period of 2016 - 2020 and a project to build a tap water supply system for newly merged communes into Vinh city. Coordinate with units to implement technical support projects such as: Water sector operation cooperation project between Nawasco; ADB and VIE (Vitens Evides - Netherlands) on training against water loss; Pure project on supporting the establishment of software for water supply network management and water sector asset management.
During the production process, ensuring water quality is an important task that is given top priority, so the company regularly checks, monitors and takes measures to protect raw water sources at water intake locations of treatment stations. Strengthening the inspection of water quality, water after treatment at the factory and water after treatment at households, on that basis, having appropriate treatment solutions to improve water quality, ensuring that it meets clean water standards according to QCVN01/BYT - 2009 of the Ministry of Health. Water supply production activities ensure continuous water supply time for customers. Renovating factories, repairing and promptly fixing problems arising from machinery and equipment systems to ensure the best conditions for production and clean water supply.
Every day, the Chemistry Department takes water samples at factories, production stations, on the network... to promptly check and process to ensure the quality of domestic water according to standards. In particular, the company coordinates with the Nghe An Preventive Medicine Center to strengthen the monitoring and management of water quality. At branches and units, meter reading has been organized on schedule and at the prescribed time. Check and monitor the loss rate of total meters in residential areas. Applying information technology to customer management, the company is successfully applying customer management software, inspection, installation and repair, material management...

Upgrading and renovating old, rotten pipes and separating the network to manage and prevent loss. Upgrading capacity and improving water quality at water treatment plants in the Western Water Supply Enterprise and Hung Vinh, prioritizing the renovation of horizontal settling tank clusters into Lamenla settling tank clusters at Hung Vinh Water Plant. Developing a loan plan to prevent water loss. Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company will also implement water bill collection through banks and water bill collection services.
