The company has been introducing new sugarcane varieties with high productivity and sugar content, propagated at the seed farm. Testing and continuing to select sugarcane varieties suitable for soil quality and climate conditions, early-ripening varieties, late-ripening varieties and medium-ripening varieties according to the crop-spreading structure with the varieties VD-93-159; VD 00236; Khonkaen 2; Khonkaen 3; LK 9211; CO 0467; VD 64, SJC1; SJC2; SJC3 for replication in the area. The company has invested in 4 drip irrigation models in the sugarcane raw material area, with an area of ​​nearly 20 hectares. Currently, the company has a raw material area of ​​nearly 8,000 hectares in Tan Ky, Yen Thanh, Anh Son and Thanh Chuong districts.

The company has built and issued many investment mechanisms, supporting the development of raw material areas in line with reality, which have been well received by sugarcane growers; reasonable purchasing prices, ensuring compliance with the content of agricultural product consumption contracts, creating "trust" with growers; innovating the management of raw material areas, the agricultural staff is increasingly close to the people. The company also invested in building and perfecting management software, thanks to which agricultural data is updated and managed accurately, and coordination in raw material management between related departments is more effective.

During the term, the unit invested over 300 billion VND in upgrading equipment capacity and environmental treatment. Since then, the sugarcane/sugar consumption rate has decreased, bringing higher processing efficiency. The factory's pressing capacity has been gradually increased, from 2,500 tons of sugarcane/year to 3,300 tons of sugarcane/year; currently, investment is continuing to increase the capacity to 5,000 tons of sugarcane/year. Environmental sanitation is of concern, thanks to which the factory is clean, ensuring the environment and food hygiene and safety. In particular, the Company has created a mechanism to encourage the team of engineers to have technical innovation initiatives. In the last term, 3 technical innovation topics were commended by the district and the province, many other technical innovation topics were applied to bring efficiency to the Company's production, earning billions of VND.

Fertilizer production for investment in developing raw material areas is given special attention to provide timely and sufficient supply for sugarcane growers to invest in intensive farming to increase productivity. After 4 years, the unit has produced about 30 thousand tons of microbial fertilizers to supply to sugarcane growers. Therefore, poor families also have the conditions to intensive farming right from the beginning of the season. The quality and price of the Company's fertilizers are trusted by sugarcane growers.

The company has always identified the market as an important stage. The company's leaders have built close relationships with strategic customers, thanks to which the company's sugar products have been consumed well over the years, without any backlog, and have been able to mobilize capital for production in a timely manner. During the entire term, the company produced more than 195 thousand tons of sugar, with revenue of nearly 3 thousand billion VND, and paid over 100 billion VND to the state budget.

Cultural, social, security and defense activities and other activities of the company are in-depth, creating positive motivation for employees to work in a healthy and comfortable environment; the spiritual life of employees is improved. Over the past 5 years, the company's Trade Union has always achieved the title of Excellent Strong Trade Union and has been commended by superiors.

In the 2015 - 2020 term, Song Con Sugarcane Joint Stock Company sets out the task of building a comprehensively strong Party Committee, performing well the political tasks in the direction of modernization scale; promoting the advantages of the sugar production line with a capacity of 5,000 TMN; building a stable, solid, long-term raw material area; expanding the production industries along the road and after the road in proportion to the development scale.
