VICEM Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company received the Second Class Labor Medal
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 7, Vicem Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary and receive the Second Class Labor Medal.
Attending the event were comrades: Do Duc Duy, Deputy Minister of Construction; Leaders of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc; Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation; Le Doan Hop, former Minister of Information and Communications; Ho Xuan Hung, former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

On October 7, 1995, the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No. 2629 to establish Nghe An Cement Company and on April 15, 1996, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 216/TTg on investing in the construction of Nghe An Cement Factory, with a capacity of 4,000 tons of clinker/day, equivalent to 1.4 million tons of cement/year, with a total investment of 231.62 million USD from foreign loans. On November 23, 2001, Hoang Mai Cement Factory welcomed the first ton of cement products and began to move to the production and business stage, and at the same time became an independent accounting unit under the Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation. Implementing the enterprise innovation program, in 2007 Hoang Mai Cement Company equitized and on April 1, 2008, Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company officially started operating under the model of a joint stock company..
With the support of all levels, sectors and the efforts of the staff, Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company has overcome difficulties to fulfill its mission. VICEM Hoang Mai Cement products not only participate in the construction of residential projects, but also put into construction of many key national projects. Along with effective production and business, from 2005 to present, Hoang Mai Cement has participated in doing well in social security and humanitarian charity work nationwide with a total amount of more than 34 billion VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Do Duc Duy and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong acknowledged and congratulated the staff and workers of Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company for their outstanding achievements in the past time. After 20 years, Hoang Mai Cement has made important contributions to the socio-economic development of the province and the Nam Thanh - Bac Nghe region.
In the development orientation of Nghe An's cement industry by 2020, the whole province is striving to achieve an output of 14 million tons of cement, so the Provincial People's Committee, Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation and Vicem Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company are making efforts to continue investing in the Hoang Mai 2 cement production line with new technology, capacity of 12,000 tons of clinker/day, equivalent to 4.5 million tons of cement/year. The project has a total investment capital of 10,800 billion VND, equivalent to 650 million USD. The project implementation period is from 2016 to 2020...
At the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong presented a congratulatory banner to Vicem Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company on its 20th anniversary. On this occasion, the President awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to the staff of Vicem Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company and Mr. Duong Dinh Hoi, General Director of Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company, for their outstanding achievements in the period 2010 - 2014.
