Airline company in Türkiye was attacked by terrorists, 27 people were killed and injured
At least five people were killed and 22 injured in an attack on the headquarters of an airline near the Turkish capital Ankara.
The BBC news agency quoted Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya as saying that the two attackers, a man and a woman, had been "neutralized". This official said that the attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries Company (TUSAS) was most likely linked to the Kurdish rebel group PKK.
No organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack that occurred yesterday (October 23).

Türkiye's Defense Ministry announced late yesterday that it had launched airstrikes against PKK targets in northern Iraq and Syria.
Türkiye, the US and the UK consider the PKK a terrorist organisation. The group has been fighting against Türkiye since the 1980s for greater rights for the country's Kurdish minority.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is in Russia for the BRICS summit, condemned what he called a "despicable terrorist attack", in a speech broadcast live on TV.
Multiple videos of the attack showed at least two people opening fire around the entrance of TUSAS, located 40km from the capital Ankara. Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz said four of the victims were TUSAS employees while the fifth was a taxi driver. Seven special forces members were among the 22 people injured in the attack.
According to local media, the attackers killed the taxi driver before hijacking the car to carry out the attack.
