In an era where environmental pollution and water pollution always go hand in hand with rapid economic development, finding effective and economical wastewater treatment solutions is a top concern not only for businesses, but also for functional sectors and the majority of the population.
In that context, the 4th International Exhibition on Water Technology - Vietwater 2012 (Giang Vo Exhibition Center, Hanoi) has attracted special attention from the capital's residents in recent days.

Besides meeting the need for information, or introducing new technologies in the field of water supply and wastewater treatment, Vietwater 2012 is also an opportunity for experts, leaders and consumers to seek solutions to challenges in the water environment.
According to Vietnam+ reporters' observations, the most prominent booths at Vietwater 2012 are those from Japan, with flexible, easy-to-apply, highly effective solutions, and importantly, at not too expensive a cost.
At the exhibition, Kobelco Eco-Solutions Vietnam introduced to visitors environmental solutions that meet practical needs. In the field of water treatment, Kobelco provides industrial wastewater treatment systems, desalination equipment, sludge treatment, water supply and urban wastewater treatment...
In the field of waste treatment and recycling, Kobelco also introduces municipal waste gasification and melting furnaces, municipal waste incinerators, biomass treatment plants... that this unit builds and installs, which are highly appreciated in the world.
Meanwhile, Swing Water Company (founded by Mitsubishi, Ebara and JGC) brought to the exhibition leading Japanese technologies in water treatment such as design consulting, technology, and construction of wastewater and water supply treatment.
In addition, Swing Water also provides wastewater treatment equipment such as sludge presses, chemicals used in water treatment processes such as polymers, activated carbon, Ebagros U-700...
Talking about the effective sludge dewatering system using the combination of Ebagros U-700 chemicals, Engineer Duong Van Tu (Water Treatment Engineering Department of Swing Water Vietnam) said that when applying the solution with Ebagros U-700, it is possible to reduce 16% of the water ratio for types of sludge that are difficult to dewater.
If comparing the amount of sludge generated, it is possible to reduce the weight by 50% when using Ebagros U-700 as well as reduce the treatment cost and electricity consumption.
For its part, Toshiba offers a water supply information management system to collect, store, and monitor parameters of water flow, pressure, and water quality to effectively manage the water supply pipeline network.
Vietwater 2012 exhibition opens from November 6 and lasts until November 8, 2012. After the exhibition, businesses, individuals and organizations interested in Japanese water technologies and solutions can contact the companies directly, most of which have established companies or opened representative offices in Vietnam, or visit congtynhatban.info for more details./.
