The only dairy company that did not violate advertising regulations.
(Baonghean.vn)According to the Ministry of Finance's inspection results, among the five companies producing and selling powdered milk for children in Vietnam, only Vinamilk did not exceed the regulations on advertising expenditure.
This is also one of the factors that helps Vinamilk's products be cheaper than many other businesses in the same field.

Vinamilk's total advertising and promotional expenses amounted to 811 billion VND. This figure covers advertising costs for all of Vinamilk's more than 40 product lines, including fresh milk, soy milk, yogurt, bottled water, and powdered milk for adults, children, and the elderly, etc. The advertising cost for Vinamilk's powdered milk for children under 6 years old accounts for only a small percentage, below the government-approved limit.
According to the Ministry of Finance's inspection, Vinamilk was also listed among the businesses that underdeclared corporate income tax and value-added tax, amounting to over 2.7 billion VND.
Ms. Bui Thi Huong, Director of External Relations at Vinamilk, further clarified: “After the Ministry of Finance's inspection excluded expenses that were not considered reasonable business expenses, Vinamilk needed to declare and pay additional corporate income tax and value-added tax of over 2.7 billion VND. Vinamilk did not intentionally fail to declare these taxes, leading to the current tax arrears. In fact, in 2013 Vinamilk paid nearly 3,500 billion VND in taxes to the state, and Vinamilk has always paid taxes on time, never late like many other businesses.”
