Hua Na Hydropower Company: Striving to complete resettlement before May 30, 2012
(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, at the Hua Na hydroelectric plant construction site, Hua Na Hydroelectric Company held a ceremony to launch the emulation movement at the beginning of the year.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the National Oil and Gas Group; leaders of Que Phong district.
After more than 4 years of construction, up to now, the main construction items such as dam, spillway, water tunnel, pressure tower... are being constructed closely following the set schedule with the goal of storing water in the reservoir on June 15, 2012 and generating electricity in the fourth quarter of 2012. The dam and spillway items have been completed at 91.3% of the plan; the volume of digging water tunnels has reached 93% of the plan. Regarding site clearance and resettlement, the company and the leaders of Que Phong district are actively implementing compensation work, building 16 resettlement sites in the district to relocate 1,326 households with more than 5,000 people out of the flooded area of the reservoir...
Song Da Company and LiLaMa Construction and Installation Company have jointly signed a commitment to complete the goal of relocating people to the resettlement site before May 30, 2012, to start water storage on June 15, 2012 and generate electricity in the fourth quarter of 2012.
