Nam Irrigation Company is ready to respond to storm No. 3

(Baonghean) -At 10:00 a.m. on July 30, all leaders of Nam Irrigation Company (Nghe An) gathered at Nam Dan 2 sluice - a key irrigation project under urgent construction.

To directly direct the response to storm No. 3, the construction site has mobilized 10 cars, 6 bulldozers, 2 large generators and 100 workers. Currently, 300 bags of soil have been packed, 50 m³sand, 1,000 m³reserve boulders of dike 42. The command board of dike 42 has mobilized local people and military forces in the area to be ready to respond in case of an incident. The project command board and contractor are present at the scene 24/7 ready to direct.

To drain water in the fields, the company has closed the Nam Dan sluice gate, opened the third gate to Ben Thuy, Nghi Quang, Nghi Khanh to drain buffer water, decant the tide and drain the floodwater. Started the Hung Chau and Hung Dao pumping stations to be ready to drain the floodwater. Deployed staff and workers to be on duty with localities to monitor the water level rise at the dams: Trang Den, Thanh Thuy, Cua Ong (Nam Dan), Khe Lang, Khe Thuy, Lach Buoi, Khe Go (Nghi Loc). All staff are on duty at assigned locations 24/7.
