(Baonghean.vn) -As the only village in Chau Hanh commune (Quy Chau) without rice fields, Hanh Tien village has 216 households/515 people. People's lives mainly depend on one sugarcane crop per year, so there are still many poor and near-poor households.
In order to contribute to the Party and State in caring for and helping poor households on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Quy Ty, on the afternoon of January 28, 2013, representatives of Tay Dong One Member Co., Ltd. (Cai Be, Tien Giang) visited and donated nearly 2 tons of "special" Huong Thom rice to help poor households in Hanh Tien village celebrate the Lunar New Year 2013 with a quota of 20kg/household.
