NA Power Company recommends measures to use electricity safely and effectively.
Measures for safe and efficient use of electricity
To enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet safely, actively prevent unfortunate electrical accidents and fires that may occur when using electricity, Nghe An Electricity Company respectfully requests everyone to implement the following "Measures for safe and effective use of electricity":
|
1. Do not touch live electrical areas in the house.such as: electrical outlets; circuit breakers and fuses without covers; places where the insulation of the wire is peeled off; wire joints; bare wires... to avoid fatal electric shock.
2. Electrical wires in the house must be placed in insulated conduit.and use insulated wire with a large enough cross-section so that the allowable current of the wire is greater than the load current, so that the wire is not overloaded, causing short circuits and fires in the house.
3. A circuit breaker or circuit breaker or quick disconnect device must be installed behind the meter.at the beginning of the main electrical line in the house, at the beginning of each branch line and install fuses in front of electrical outlets to quickly cut off the current in case of short circuit or overload, preventing electrical fires.
4. When using hand-held power tools(such as: hand drills, hand grinders...) must use low voltage insulated equipment to avoid electric shock when the power tool leaks electricity.
5. When repairing electricity in the house, the circuit breaker must be turned off.and hang a sign: "Do not turn on the electricity, someone is working" at the circuit breaker to avoid electric shock.
6. Do not place electrical equipment that generates heat near flammable or explosive objects.to avoid starting a fire in the house.
7. Do not use poor quality electrical wires, electrical equipment, household appliances...Because these devices have unsafe insulation, they can easily cause short circuits, electric leakage to the shell, causing fatal electric shock to users and fires in the house.
8. Do not shoot guns or throw rocks, bars, metal wires, tinsel, fireworks, foreign objects... into power lines., power station because it can cause short circuit, broken wire causing danger.
9. Do not install TV antennas near power lines or stations because the antenna may fall onto the power lines., the power station caused a short circuit, broken wire, and dangerous electric discharge, killing the person who was disassembling and installing the antenna.
10. Do not approach 15kV power lines or stations within 2 meters.(110kV power lines, power stations within 4 meters) by any means such as: climbing onto the roof, terrace; climbing onto the balcony, railing, canopy... from houses, buildings near power lines, power stations or bringing long objects, cranes... near power lines... to prevent electric shock or deadly high voltage discharge.
11. When it rains, storms, hurricanes... do not touch electric poles, pole ties, ground wires, meter boxes, circuit breakers...to prevent electric shock due to electrical leakage.
12. When discovering a fallen electric pole or broken electric wire falling onto the road, field, pond, etc., the person who discovers it must not approach and must immediately notify everyone around., find a way to set up a barrier and immediately notify the emergency electrical safety hotline 038.3523216 of Nghe An Electricity Company for appropriate handling measures.
Nghe An Electricity Company respectfully hopes that agencies, businesses, localities and people will implement the above to enjoy a safe New Year and avoid unfortunate electrical incidents.
Nghe An Electricity Company would like to thank you for your cooperation!
