Traffic police arrest subject transporting explosives

On the morning of January 18, Major Le Anh Hao - Captain of Traffic Control Patrol Team 1-46 (under the Provincial Traffic Police Department) said that through the work of grasping the situation, Traffic Control Patrol Team 1-46 discovered that Le Huu Phuc (born in 1960, residing in Block 9, Quynh Xuan Ward, Hoang Mai Town, Nghe An) had illegally traded explosives.

After receiving information from the public about the subject's activities, on January 15-16, 2015, Traffic Police Team 1-46 deployed forces to monitor and ambush to arrest him.
Accordingly, at 10:30 a.m. on January 16, 2015, on the inter-village road in hamlet 12, Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district, the working group discovered a suspect riding a motorbike with license plate 37L1-096.52 and signaled him to stop for inspection.
Through inspection, Traffic Police Team 1-46 discovered that Phuc was transporting 4 white plastic bags containing 10 explosives weighing nearly 9kg and 23,900,000 VND.
The working group made a record and handed over the subject and evidence to Quynh Luu District Police for further investigation.
