The decision was made by the Publishing Department on January 9. The two books in violation are the 2014 Civil Code and its implementing documents and the 2014 Penal Code and its implementing documents, both collected and compiled by author Quoc Cuong and published by the Labor and Social Publishing House.

Two books caused My Quyen printing company to be fined.

In particular, the Civil Code and its implementing documents of 2014 printed a composite photo of actor Cong Ly wearing underwear, causing a strong public reaction.

My Quyen Company is located in Ward 6, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City. This company must pay the fine within 60 days from the date of the decision.

At the same time, on January 13, the Publishing Department also decided to fine Mr. Nguyen Ly Van Duong, representative of Lao Dong Bookstore in Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City, 25 million VND for publishing the two books mentioned above. Mr. Duong must pay the fine within 10 days.

In November 2014, the Labor and Social Publishing House, the unit responsible for publishing the book, was fined 252 million VND./.
