(Baonghean.vn)- Voters believe that the legal system still has many shortcomings, laws are amended before they are issued, and laws have to wait for decrees and guiding circulars to be put into practice. Supervision and implementation of laws are not effective.

Speaking at the conference, Cua Lo voters highly appreciated the increasingly high quality of the National Assembly's activities and the increasing spirit and responsibility of National Assembly deputies. Besides the positive results, voters are concerned that the country still has limitations that need to be overcome.

On the morning of July 4, in Nghi Hai ward, the National Assembly delegation including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and Ms. Nguyen Van Chi - Standing Member of the National Assembly Finance and Budget Committee had a meeting with voters of Cua Lo town. Attending the meeting were representatives of departments, branches, sectors, and members of the Standing Committee of Cua Lo Town Party Committee.

Voter Hoang Van Thuan, Nghi Hai ward stated: Vietnam is an agricultural production country but we have not yet built a brand for agricultural products. In addition, this voter also said that currently, the Government is promoting the implementation of the policy of a creative Government but the movement at the grassroots level is still too slow. He suggested that the National Assembly should have a policy to monitor and evaluate the specific work of all levels, sectors and localities in implementing this policy of the Government.

Regarding tourism development, voter Hoang Duc Thuong, Nghi Hai ward, reported that Cua Hoi fishing port, from 3am to 6am, thousands of workers gather to buy, sell and transport seafood from all over the country. However, after being used for a long time, the port has deteriorated. It is recommended that the government pay attention to investing in upgrading the fishing port. In addition, Nghi Hai has 3km along the Lam river, so it is recommended that the government pay attention to building boat locks to serve tourism and safe anchorages for boats.

Regarding the construction of the legal system, voter Tran Bach Mai, Nghi Hai ward, reflected: In the past, the National Assembly has made many efforts, but our legal system still has many shortcomings. Laws have not been promulgated yet but have been amended. Laws have been issued and have to wait for Decrees and guiding circulars to be put into practice. Supervision and implementation of laws have not been effective.

The National Assembly needs to perfect the legal system to meet the practical requirements of life. At the same time, it is hoped that the National Assembly's supervisory activities will become a sharper tool to promptly detect and correct illegal acts.

“The punishment for corruption is still light, the recovery of corrupt assets is still small compared to the crime. Many corruption cases have not been discovered and handled. The corruption situation stems from the fact that legal regulations are not deterrent,” - Mr. Mai reflected.

Dịp này, Đoàn ĐBQH tỉnh trao tặng 10 suất quà, mỗi suất quà trị giá 1 triệu đồng chó 10 gia đình chính sách có hoàn cảnh khó khăn của phường Nghi Hải, TX Cửa Lò.

The opinion of Cua Lo voters suggests that the National Assembly should pay due attention to grassroots cadres and enhance the position and role of the grassroots political system. Voters hope that the National Assembly and National Assembly deputies will continue to innovate and improve their capacity and effectiveness in their activities to be worthy of the role and responsibility of elected representatives.

In addition, voters reflected on issues of clean water, rural power grid infrastructure, slow issuance of land use right certificates, policies for people with meritorious services...

The voters' petitions were answered and clarified by National Assembly deputies and representatives of Cua Lo town leaders. At the same time, the National Assembly delegation compiled the petitions to relevant agencies, departments and branches and at National Assembly forums./.
