(Baonghean.vn) - Focusing on reflecting on the field of education and training, many voters requested that the revised Law on Education should closely follow real life, including strictly handling those involved in the recent exam cheating ring.

Need to prevent negativity in educational environment

At the meeting, delegate Hoang Thi Thu Trang informed voters about some contents of the upcoming 7th session of the 14th National Assembly, emphasizing 2 laws that have a great impact on socio-economic life and are expected to be submitted to the National Assembly for approval, namely the revised Law on Education and the Law on Prevention of Alcohol Harm.

Affirming that the revised Law on Education is an important law that has a profound impact on the development of the country's education and training, Mr. Van Duc Vinh, a voter of Quynh Hau commune, requested that National Assembly delegates strongly reflect and condemn the situation of score-fixing and exam cheating in recent times.

According to Vinh voters, the National Assembly needs to have effective solutions to prevent negative situations in the educational environment, and strictly punish organizations and individuals who violate the law.

Also reflecting on issues related to the education and training sector, many voters said that for a long time, education reform has been in a vicious circle, and the simultaneous existence of many sets of textbooks shows unreasonableness, causing great impact on teachers, parents and students.

In addition, reality also shows that thousands of contract teachers are at risk of losing their jobs. Voters also mentioned a number of cases of contract teachers who have been teaching for decades but are now on the liquidation list.

Focus on solving people's problems

Voter Van Duc Vinh also reported that the Quynh Doi - Quynh Hau inter-commune road is currently degraded and some intersections often have collisions and traffic accidents. Therefore, he requested that National Assembly delegates and provincial and district authorities pay attention to resolving the issue.

In addition, voters also suggested that social protection for the elderly should be improved.

Voter Ho Duc Hieu, hamlet 11, Quynh Hau commune, said that agricultural production has long been in a situation where whether there is a good harvest or a bad harvest, the price does not change. Farmers produce agricultural products but have to pay high prices for seeds, fertilizers, and wages, so farmers do not want to stick with the fields. Voters suggested that the State should build centers to purchase agricultural products at stable prices for farmers, only then will farmers dare to invest heavily, aiming to produce goods for export...

Reflecting on the increasing trend of child molestation crimes, while sanctions and legal regulations still have many shortcomings, voter Tran Thi Ha - Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Quynh Luu district proposed that the National Assembly should promulgate, supplement and amend related laws to strictly punish violators and protect children's rights...

At the conference, representatives of the Department of Transport and leaders of Quynh Luu district also answered some questions raised by voters.

The delegates also explained and clarified the basic contents of the Law on Education and the Law on Prevention of Alcohol Harm, which are expected to be passed in this session of the National Assembly. The Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 said that the voters' proposals will be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration, and issues under local authority will be requested to be addressed by all levels.
