Dien Chau voters: Need to strictly handle those who cause disorder and oppose the Party and State

(Baonghean.vn) - Dien Chau voters requested strict handling of cases of disturbing public order and showing signs of opposing the Party and State in Quynh Luu district.

In addition, falsifying documents of wounded and sick soldiers to enjoy benefits, inadequacies in implementing land policies, corruption, extra teaching and learning still occurring... are also contents that many voters of Dien Chau district sent to National Assembly deputies at the voter meeting on the morning of May 3.

At the conference, there were 4 opinions from voters reflecting on the situation of forged documents of wounded and sick soldiers. The indignation sent to the National Assembly delegates about the situation in localities that forged documents of people with revolutionary contributions to enjoy the regimes and policies of the Party and State still occurred.

Voter Truong Duc Thanh in Hamlet 5, Dien Nguyen Commune proposed that authorities at all levels re-examine cases of war invalids with signs of forgery. Meanwhile, voter Truong Cong Dam in Hamlet 8, Dien Thap Commune reported that in the commune, there is still a situation of forging war invalids' papers for personal gain, even though there are people who participated in fighting on the battlefield but have not yet received any benefits.

In addition, there are many opinions reflecting the delay and inadequacies in the implementation of payment of regimes and policies for people with revolutionary contributions, such as the opinions of voters: Phan Tien Luc in hamlet 6, Dien Thai commune; Dao Xuan Hue in Dien Xuan commune; Bui Man in village 3, Dien Ky commune...

In addition to opinions on the regime and policies for people with revolutionary contributions, voters in 7 communes of Dien Chau district also reflected many other economic and social issues such as delays and inadequacies in implementing local land policies, including many cases where people have complained many times but have not been resolved, such as the cases of voters in Dien Ky commune, voters in hamlet 7, Dien Xuan commune, hamlet 6, Dien Thai commune, etc.

Voters also reflected that the situation of extra teaching and learning still occurs; some provisions of the Land Law are still inadequate and need to be adjusted and supplemented; and proposed tightening disciplinary action against violations in the Party and State to put an end to corruption, harassment of officials and recruitment of incompetent officials.

Voter Nguyen Ngoc Thanh in Hamlet 4, Dien Thap Commune expressed his concern and worry about the increasing number of corrupt officials, and requested that the handling of corrupt officials must be linked to the handling of the responsibility of the heads and managers of the agencies where the violators are located, and that there must be clear penalties for anti-corruption crimes.

Regarding the approval of foreign investment projects in manufacturing factories in Vietnam, Dien Chau voters suggested that it is necessary to consult the people or vote in the National Assembly before leasing land to foreign enterprises and individuals to build factories. Local land funds are increasingly limited, while the rate of allocation for local use is too small, it is necessary to adjust so that localities can invest in infrastructure.

Voter Nguyen Thi Bich, Hamlet 1, Dien Xuan Commune, reflected on the situation of low agricultural prices and high production costs, making it difficult for people to produce, and hoped to receive more support from the State. Ms. Bich also reflected on the current socialized contribution to education that is beyond the people's capacity, the difficulty in implementing population and family planning propaganda due to the cutoff of contraceptive support sources, and the allowance for village population collaborators being too low.

In addition, voters also proposed tightening inspection and control of food safety violations in markets and rural areas; strengthening sanctions and more severe handling of drug addicts and traffickers; overcoming the situation where children of incompetent officials are still allowed to enter state agencies; and the increasing number of university graduates unable to find jobs...

At the conference, representatives of local authorities, a number of relevant departments and branches and National Assembly deputies responded to a number of voters' opinions and accepted proposals beyond their authority to submit to the upcoming National Assembly session and competent authorities for consideration and resolution.

Previously, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien reported to voters the expected agenda of the 3rd session of the 14th National Assembly; some contents that Dien Chau district voters had reflected in the previous session and the contents that authorities at all levels had resolved.
