Voters in Ky Son propose to soon implement planning, arrangement and resettlement of people affected by natural disasters.
(Baonghean.vn) - At the meeting with voters before the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly of the provincial National Assembly Delegation, voters of Ky Son district proposed that all levels promptly implement planning and build resettlement areas for households affected by flash floods that occurred in late September and early October 2022.
On the afternoon of October 6, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province from constituency No. 1 met with voters in Ky Son district. This was a meeting activity to implement the topic "Regulations on land of agricultural and forestry farm origin, land for ethnic minorities in the Draft Amended Land Law".

At the meeting with voters, on behalf of the National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Tran Nhat Minh informed voters about the expected content of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly taking place from October 23 to November 29, 2023.
The National Assembly will consider and pass nine draft laws and two draft resolutions, and give opinions on eight other draft laws; at the same time, consider and decide on socio-economic issues, the State budget, and supervise other important issues.

Delegate Tran Nhat Minh also announced the content of resolving petitions and reflections of Ky Son voters before and after the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Delegate Hoang Minh Hieu presented the outline of the topic "Regulations on land of agricultural and forestry origin, land for ethnic minorities", and specific policies, asking for voters' opinions to complete the provisions of the Draft Land Law (amended).
Attending the conference, voters of Ky Son district basically agreed on the content of the draft regulations on land of agricultural and forestry origin, land for ethnic minorities in the Draft Land Law. In addition, voters of Ky Son district also had 11 opinions and recommendations related to the construction of irrigation infrastructure; policies and regimes for officials: vocational training; land and forest allocation, ...

Voters of Ta Ca, Bao Nam, Huu Kiem communes requested that all levels promptly implement planning, arrangement, and settlement of residents and build new resettlement areas for households in Hoa Son, Son Ha, Binh Son 1 (Ta Ca commune), Nam Tien 1 (Bao Nam commune),... and some communes in the area where households had to be urgently relocated due to the impact of flash floods that occurred in late September and early October 2022 so that people can soon stabilize their housing and feel secure in production and business.

Voters in Tien Tieu village, Nam Can commune reported that the section of National Highway 7 leading to two kindergartens belonging to Tien Tieu village Primary School has sunk and collapsed, causing traffic safety problems. Voters requested that superiors soon come up with a solution.
In addition, voters of Ky Son district also proposed to strengthen vocational training and introduce jobs for workers, in which priority is given to workers from poor households, near-poor households, ethnic minorities, and remote and disadvantaged areas.
Voters suggested that there should be specific mechanisms and policies in forest allocation associated with forestry land allocation and granting of land use right certificates to individuals, households and communities in the district.

Issues related to the operation of the power grid; overcoming the consequences of natural disasters; allowances for teachers at boarding schools; policies to support ethnic minorities; agricultural and forestry extension work; policies to support the preservation and development of traditional craft villages; support for production according to the value chain;... were also reflected and recommended by voters to the National Assembly Delegation.

After listening to voters' opinions, representatives of a number of departments and branches discussed and answered a number of issues within their authority that voters reflected.

Representing the provincial National Assembly delegation, Mr. Hoang Minh Hieu answered the issues within his authority. At the same time, he received the opinions and recommendations of voters to forward to the Government, the National Assembly and competent levels and sectors for consideration and resolution.
