Nghi Loc voters: poor quality of medical examination and treatment is the cause of health insurance fund deficit

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 3, at Nghi Phong commune, the National Assembly delegation including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and Ms. Nguyen Van Chi - Standing member of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee had a meeting with voters of Nghi Phong and Nghi Truong communes, Nghi Loc district.

Attending the conference were representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors; comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, leaders of Nghi Loc District People's Committee.

On behalf of the National Assembly delegation, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien reported to voters of Nghi Phong and Nghi Truong communes on the results of the 3rd session of the 14th National Assembly. Many voters highly appreciated the quality of the session, and at the same time made recommendations and proposals to the National Assembly on many issues of public interest.

Mr. Bach Quang Vinh, Hamlet 20, Nghi Phong Commune, said: In agricultural production, the operation of the 4-house linkage has not been effective. Farmers are still struggling to find outlets for agricultural products. The situation of fake fertilizers still occurs, causing losses to farmers. Food safety issues are of great concern.

Voter Doan Huu Kim in Hamlet 17, Nghi Phong Commune expressed concern about the issue of job creation for farmers' children. Mr. Kim suggested that the government should balance training and employment to both improve the quality of education and training and save people's money.

Regarding the issue of health insurance examination and treatment, voter Nguyen Dinh Minh in hamlet 9, Nghi Phong commune, said: the quality of health insurance examination and treatment at many medical facilities is still poor. People lack trust, so they go to many places for medical examination and treatment, increasing the deficit of the health insurance fund.

At the meeting, voters of Nghi Phong and Nghi Truong communes also made recommendations on issues under the authority of the provincial and district levels, such as: compensation for site clearance on Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard, planning of Vinh University's second campus, granting of land use right certificates, investment in upgrading schools in the area, etc.

After the leaders of Nghi Loc District People's Committee and representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs explained the contents under their authority, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien accepted and clarified the issues that the petitioner had proposed. At the same time, he promised to forward them to the National Assembly Delegation for synthesis and send them to the sectors and the National Assembly in the next session.
