Tan Ky voters: Concerned about the situation of floating medicine and plant protection drugs

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 7, National Assembly deputies Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Mong Van Tinh - Officer of Que Phong District Youth Union; Nguyen Thi Thao - Doctor of Nghe An Northwest Regional General Hospital had a meeting with voters in Nghia Dong commune, Tan Ky district.

After listening to the representative of the 14th National Assembly Delegation summarize the results of the second session, voters of Nghia Dong commune highly appreciated the quality of the session as well as the positive and enthusiastic contributions of Nghe An delegates.

At the conference, voters reflected on the increasingly serious issues of food safety and environmental pollution, and requested that relevant sectors find timely solutions. In addition, many opinions suggested increasing allowances and subsidies for village cadres and paying more attention to the regime and policies for meritorious people.

Voters are also concerned about the current situation of many types of pesticides and medicines of unknown origin and at inappropriate prices on the market, requiring authorities at all levels to take more drastic action to promptly rectify the situation.

Tan Ky leaders explained a number of issues under the district's authority, affirming that in recent years, Tan Ky has always paid attention to the regime for those with meritorious services. Currently, the District People's Committee has directed the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to review the meritorious subjects to promptly resolve them.

Regarding the management of pesticides and medicines, the district leaders recommend that when buying pesticides, people should pay attention to the origin and need guidance from competent authorities such as the district's crop and plant protection station; for medicines, when people are sick, they should go to the health station or hospital for examination and purchase medicine according to the doctor's prescription, avoiding buying medicines that do not ensure quality.

National Assembly Delegate Phan Dinh Trac received opinions and recommendations from voters of Nghia Dong commune.

Speaking at the meeting with voters, on behalf of the National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac acknowledged and thanked voters for their interest in the country's major issues.

Referring to Trinh Xuan Thanh’s escape and Mr. Vu Huy Hoang, former Minister of Industry and Trade, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, affirmed that our Party and State will strictly discipline related organizations and individuals. In the case of Trinh Xuan Thanh, there will be no escape.

Regarding voters' opinions related to policies, delegates will accept them and submit them to the next session of the National Assembly and forward them to relevant ministries and branches for consideration and resolution.
